West Ham will compete with Spurs for Portsmouth keeper James

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James is being linked with West Ham United.

The Daily Mail says West Ham have agreed terms with Portsmouth manager Avram Grant and among the Israeli's early moves will be a reunion with James.

James is also interesting Tottenham, while Pompey administrator Andrew Andronikou has confirmed plans to offer the England keeper a new deal.
