West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion have been handed a huge blow after it emerged that Andre-Pierre Gignac is set to sign for Mexican side Tigres UANL.

Gignac had become one of the most sought-after free agents this summer following his release from Marseille and a host of Premier League clubs such as West Ham and West Brom were interested in signing the striker.

However in a huge shock, it has emerged that Gignac is set to sign for Tigres instead. The Liga MX club confirmed that the French international is set to undergo a medical at the club and will arrive in Monterrey on Thursday to hammer out the final details of the move.
