West Ham United are ready to take Lacina Traore off AS Monaco's hands.

Monaco have confirmed the signing of the Ivory Coast striker from Anzhi, but coach Claudio Ranieri is reluctant to include him in his squad.

Ranieri is wary of upsetting his settled strike-force and feels Traore would be better served being loaned out for the remainder of this season.

L'Equipe says West Ham United have already been in touch to confirm their interest.
