West Ham waiting for Malaysia takeover offer

West Ham United are hoping for a rival takeover offer to arrive from Malaysia.

The Daily Mail says West Ham's Icelandic owners have their doubts about the £50m bid from former Birmingham owners David Gold and David Sullivan.

They are still hopeful of Malaysian entrepreneur and Hammers fan Tony Fernandes, who founded airline AirAsia, putting together a bigger offer.
