West Ham have upped their bid for Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass.
The Sun says they have increased their offer for Snodgrass to £5million as they try to tempt Hull into selling one of their best players.
The Hammers have returned with a second offer after seeing an initial bid of £3m rejected by the relegation strugglers last week.
West Ham want Snodgrass to come into the club as they seek to reverse the slump in form which has seen than have a disappointing first season at the Olympic Stadium.
They see the 29-year-old Scottish international as the ideal type of player to add strength to the side after failing in the transfer market last summer.
