West Ham United U21 coach Steve Potts was pleased with their performance in defeat to Manchester United.
Reece Oxford and Jordan Brown struck for the Hammers in the 3-2 loss.
Potts told whufc.com: "It's great for both of them. Jordan was a constant threat in behind the defence all game and Reece is always an outlet with his height.
"Man United were a great challenge for us with the team they fielded. They're a good side, top of the league. To play against Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson and a few others who have been involved in the first team is a great test."
