Former Leicester City defender Michael Lamey is trialling with West Ham United.

The Daily Mail says West Ham are weighing up a deal for free agent Lamey after the former Leicester defender featured in their 3-0 pre-season win over German side Rot-Weiss Erfurt on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old former Holland Under 21 international played 45 minutes in his bid to impress manager Sam Allardyce.

Lamey, who played just four times for Championship club Leicester in 2010, is available following a spell at Polish side Wisla Krakow last season.
