West Ham trials for ex-Everton keeper Stefan Wessels

Former Everton goalkeeper Stefan Wessels is being lined up for a return to England by West Ham United.

And the former Bayern Munich keeper is set to play at Burton today.

Wessels, 31, has been at Swiss club Basel and is now in the frame to be No2 at Upton Park.

World Cup blunder keeper Robert Green is first choice for Avram Grant but the Hammers boss needs experienced back-up.
