West Ham United will have to fork out at least £40million if they want to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Hammers will need to increase their valuation of the French striker if they are to be successful in luring him to the Olympic Stadium this summer.
West Ham recently had a £32m proposal rejected and it is understood that Lyon have no plans to negotiate unless the East London club offer £8m more.
Slaven Bilic is intent on brining a quality goalscorer to the club ahead of their monumental move into their new home but it appears it will not come cheap if he wants to sign 25-year-old Lacazette.
