West Ham United are on the brink of sealing a deal for Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna for £8million.


The 27-year-old defender was in London this week to hold talks with the east London side and has reportedly agreed a four-year contract according to the Daily Mail.

The centre-back had been previously linked with a move to Premier League sides Everton and Bournemouth, but West Ham appear to have usurped their league rivals to the signature of the 10-time Italy international. It is believed that the prospect of living in London has swayed Ogbonna to join the Hammers.
