West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola is planning a £1 million bid for Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King.
The Daily Star says the out-of-favour striker has dropped behind Hugo Rodallega and Jason Scotland in the Latics' pecking order.
King has played in just two Premier League games this season - both as a last-minute substitute.
And Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola and director of football Gianluca Nani have targeted King, 29, as one of the men they want to help boost the Hammers' goal-shy strike force.
