A move to West Ham United could be on for Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.

Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is good friends with Toni, who has declared he wants to find a new club before Christmas.

Toni has been linked with a return to Italy, but his better half, Marta Cecchetto, is not so sure.

"'I do not know if I'll go back to Italy, I do not even know if my boyfriend Luca will do so," she told Italian TV yesterday.
