Paul Robinson wants a release from his Blackburn Rovers contract.

The Mail on Sunday says Robinson is set to escape the chaos at Blackburn, with a Joe Cole-style contract termination possible if nobody can take on his £35,000-a-week wages.

Rovers do not want to carry on paying Robinson and suitors West Ham United are happy to do some kind of deal.
