West Ham take Diamanti cash case to CAS

West Ham United are taking Brescia to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The Daily Mail says West Ham are going to the Court of Arbitration for Sport next week to try to recoup £1.5million they claim Brescia owe them for forward Alessandro Diamante following his £2m move in 2010.

Italy international Diamanti, who scored the winning penalty in the shootout victory over England in Kiev, signed for the Hammers in August 2009 from Livorno for £6million.

However, he was allowed to move back to Italy after just one season in the English Premier League.
