West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has joined the battle for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
France Football says West Ham are in the hunt for Gomis ahead of the January market.
Newcastle United have previously held an interest in Gomis, while reports claim Bundesliga club Wolfsburg are currently the leading candidates to sign the 28-year-old.
