The Sunday Telegraph says Wes Ham are willing to offer Barcelona midfielder Alex Song a £70,000-a-week contract to snub Chelsea this summer.
Song, 27, still has two years remaining on his Barca contract and is reportedly valued at around £5million.
The Hammers are keen on landing the former Arsenal midfielder on a permanent basis after bringing him in on loan last term.
Chelsea are known suitors of the player as manager Jose Mourinho seeks to add depth in central midfield.
