West Ham United have tabled a bid for Red Bull Salzburg attacker Sadio Mane.
The Sun says West Ham have made a £6.8 million bid for Mane.
His Austrian club rate Mane closer to £10 million.
Hammers chiefs are hoping for smooth negotiations with Red Bull football director Gerard Houllier, the former Liverpool and Aston Villa manager, in order to settle on a realistic price for Mane.
