West Ham United are set to land Lyon winger Sidney Govou.

The Hammers are set to snap up France star Govou on a free from Lyon, says The Sun.

Birmingham and Sunderland were also interested in the 30-year-old winger. But the managerless Hammers expect to seal a deal for him this week.

Govou helped Lyon win SEVEN league titles after rising up through the club's youth system.
