Ricardo Vaz Te is pinching himself over his success at West Ham United.

It has been quite a year for Vaz Te, who 12 months ago was looking to prove himself at Barnsley after a frustrating few years after leaving Bolton.

Now he is playing alongside the likes of big-money acquisitions Andy Carroll and Matt Jarvis, the attacker has to pinch himself.

"Oh, it is terrific," Vaz Te said. "I am really overwhelmed to be part of the squad and be part of the 11 week in and week out.

"To be around such great players you can only improve and I am trying to learn the best I can.

"I am trying to get consistency in my performance and it is great to be part of such a tremendous squad."
