West Ham United striker Freddie Sears sent a message to manager Avram Grant with a four goal haul against Bishop Auckland.
The Conference South hosts were no match for the England Under-21 international with Sears a lively presence from start to finish. Indeed, the striker, who scored four goals at the same stadium for the reserves against West Bromwich Albion two years ago next month, could have had five or six - such was his play.
"It was nice to come and get a full 90 minutes and the result followed," Sears told WHUTV. "The team played really well. We went forward and looked good.
"It was one of those games where everything I tried came off for me in the end, you just need an early goal. The confidence was flying then and they just seemed to all come along."
