West Ham striker Freddie Sears may end up with Sheffiel Wednesday according to club manager Brian Laws.

After a loan move to Peterborough was blocked by the Hammers, the Owls have emerged as a potential home for the 19-year old.

"We are in with a shout of signing Freddie, but there are other clubs interested in him too," Laws told the BBC.

"Freddie is currently on holiday, but we will meet up again when he gets back."
