Newcastle United boss Steve McLaren is interested in signing West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho.
McLaren is keen to add to his strike force this summer after Newcastle's dismal campaign last season and has also been linked with a move for QPR frontman Charlie Austin.
According to the Daily Mail, Sakho is also on his summer wish-list following an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League after signing for £4million from French side Metz last summer.
Sakho scored 12 goals last term, but could be on the outer with new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic believed to be keen on Chelsea's Loic Remy, as well as Newcastle target Austin.
