West Ham striker Nouble impresses against former Chelsea teammates

Despite defeat to Chelsea, West Ham United reserves coach Alex Dyer drew positives from the performance.

Dyer was pleased with the progress of Frank Nouble, who was facing Chelsea for the first time since his controversial summer switch.

"Bondz N'Gala and Josh Payne both worked hard and I think Frank Nouble gave the best performance since the season started," Dyer told whufc.com.

"His hold up play was good, he battled and he pressed the game and he deserved his goal. Apart from that it was a disappointing performance from the side."
