West Ham striker Franco keen to meet Uncle Fergie!
West Ham United's Mexican striker Guillermo Franco could be a long lost relative of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson!
Franco is West Ham's colourful, Argentina-born, Mexican striker who played in Spain last season.
But he has plenty of Scottish blood in his family roots.
Franco's great grandad was from Aberdeenshire, the full family name includes his mum's maiden name Farquarson and the clan even boasts its own tartan.
He is deeply proud of his Scottish connections and reckons there is a common bond between him and fiery Fergie, who brings United to Upton Park this afternoon.
Franco, 33, said: "Earlier this week my brother Marcelo called me and he said, 'hey, don't forget you're meeting our uncle Alex on Saturday.' He has been teasing me.
"When I see Alex Ferguson at the game on Saturday, I'll give him a big hug and say 'hello uncle.'"
