West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has revealed manager Gianfranco Zola and England coach Fabio Capello wants him to develop a nasty streak.
He said: "I've been told I'm too nice. I wouldn't say I'm now selfish but think I've got to be a bit more selfish on the pitch and more of a nutter!
"It's just training - training yourself to be more aggressive and channelling your aggression in the right places."
Cole has hit 11 goals this term - his best-ever haul - and he added: "Fabio has phoned Franco and knows what I need to do.
"Fabio sees me as a threat in the box, using my physical presence."
