West Ham striker Carroll fears no way at Liverpool

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll fears his chance of making it at Liverpool is over.

The Daily Star says Carroll fears he has blown his chances of an Anfield recall after his clash with a photographer on West Ham United's Christmas getaway.

The Liverpool striker, on loan at Upton Park until the end of the season, has not given up his dream of returning to Merseyside to prove his critics wrong.

A source said: "Andy thinks Brendan (Rodgers) is hardly going to be impressed with him after this.

"He feels like the situation has been blown out of all done anything wrong.

"He is just hoping he can convince Liverpool that he is still determined to get back there next season.

"But he is not stupid. He knows this was the last thing he needed if he's going to show Liverpool that he's hungry to get back."
