West Ham striker Carroll buys new Liverpool home

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is ready to return to parent club Liverpool after buying a new house in the area.

The Sunday Mirror says Carroll has purchased a new house in Southport. And that could sabotage West Ham's hopes of signing the 24 year-old England ace.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants Carroll to stay after spending this season on loan from Anfield.

But the hitman wants to have another go at establishing himself at the Reds - and boss Brendan Rodgers may need him with Luis Suarez's future uncertain.
