West Ham United striker Andy Carroll admitted "mixed emotions" after victory over hometown club Newcastle United.
The Geordie spoke before the game at how settled he was at Upton Park.
After the game, won by an Aaron Cresswell goal, Carroll said: "It was a great result.
"I thought the lads played well and we deserved to win.
"Newcastle have had a great season and have been playing well, and they had been undefeated in a few games, so it is even better to beat them. They are my old team so I have mixed emotions really, with my family, who I have just been in the box with, but we've got the three points so we're happy."
