West Ham still undecided over three trialists

Trialists Mikael Silvestre, John Mensah and Anthony Vanden Borre are training with West Ham in an effort to win deals at Upton Park. Experienced defender Silvestre, 35, was released by Werder Bremen in the summer. He previously spent nine seasons with Manchester United, and two with Arsenal.

Ghana international centre-back John Mensah, 29, was last with Panathinaikos and former Portsmouth loan signing Vanden Borre, 24, who has won 23 caps for Belgium.

"They have been training with us but there is no decision on whether we will be pursuing their services or not at this moment in time," Hammers boss Sam Allardyce said.
