A round of talks between West Ham United and former Birmingham City owners David Gold and David Sullivan have ended in stalemate.
The Mirror says the pair are keen to stay in football and have held talks with representatives of the Hammers' Icelandic owners Straumur.
Discussions ended in stalemate though over West Ham's massive £100m debt.
Sullivan hoped to restructure some of the club's debts to make buying West Ham better value.
But the Hammers owe a total of £45m to seven different banks who are unwilling to right off the debts.
