West Ham, Spurs alerted as Beckham told to make Euro loan return

LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham must return to Europe in January to stay in the plans of England coach Fabio Capello.

The People says Capello, who once said Becks was "too old" to play for his country, has now refused to rule out more caps.

Beckham, 35, is fit and in form for LA Galaxy after recovering from the Achilles injury he suffered playing for AC Milan.

He plays in today's MLS Western Conference final against FC Dallas, but knows he must be in action when England face Wales in the next 2012 qualifier in March - during the American close season.

Capello said: "He is not in this week's squad because at the moment he is focused on LA Galaxy. After that we will see."

West Ham United, Tottenham and Leicester City will be early contenders once Beckham declares he's ready for a loan return to England.
