Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger has attracted a £7 million bid from West Ham United.

The Mirror says the Hammers want to beat teams such as Newcastle United to the centre-back, who is regarded as one of the best young players in the Bundesliga.

The bid breaks down to £5m plus £2m in bonuses, depending on performances.

Rudiger, who turned 21 in March, has three years left on his contract but is understood to be keen to play in the Premier League.
