West Ham to show support for stricken Tombides

West Ham United players will this weekend show their ongoing support for young gun Dylan Tombides who is battling cancer.

The 17-year old Australian was already undergoing treatment for testicular cancer before it emerged that he will now require urgent surgery to remove cancerous tumors in his lymph glands.

Senior Hammers players, led by captain Kevin Nolan, put in a request for the team to wear t-shirts showing their support for Tombides during their warm-up prior to the Saturday's home clash with Nottingham Forest which has been approved by manager Sam Allardyce.
