West Ham United are on the verge of sealing a deal with Dutch club VVV-Venlo.
According to reports in Holland, the Hammers and the Eerste Divisie outfit will come together in a formal partnership which will allow the two teams to exchange players.
West Ham's head of youth development Terry Westley indicated a relationship with Venlo was certainly on the cards.
"We are looking for clubs in Europe that want to work with us in the broadest sense of the word," said Westley.
"VVV is the only club from the Netherlands which we have approached."
1limburg suggests that West Ham youngster Sam Westley, coincidentally Terry's son, will be the first player to move under the new affiliation and will join Maurice Steijn's side.
