West Ham United are set to send Modibo Maiga on loan to Saint-Etienne.
The 25-year old Malian attacker joined the Hammers from Sochaux in the summer of 2012 but has failed to impress Sam Allardyce and will return to France on a season-long loan according to reports.
With Maiga set to leave Upton Park, Allardyce will turn his attentions to Besiktas striker Hugo Almeida who is available for around £3million. Besiktas director of football Onder Ozen said: "We will consider offers for Almeida, especially if we can't reach an agreement regarding his wages."
