West Ham United are making a move for former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan.
The Sun says Sam Allardyce hopes to sign Gyan on loan until the season's end and is willing to pay £100,000 a week for his services.
By the time the Ghanaian's potential six-month spell expires West Ham will have paid £2.4m for Gyan.
