Press Association Sport suggests that West Ham United are keen to finalise the signing of Joe Cole on Friday morning.
The Liverpool midfielder has been linked with a return to Upton Park this week and it appears as though the transfer will certainly occur.
Cole underwent a medical with the Hammers on Thursday and the final touches of the agreement have been made with an announcement expected ahead of the weekend.
