West Ham United have joined the battle for Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason.
The Mirror says Hammers boss Sam Allardyce sent his chief scout to watch the prolific marksman notch again for Dutch side Heerenveen against Vitesse Arnhem on Saturday.
Finnbogason has now scored 11 times for his club this season and has also helped Iceland to the World Cup play-off stage.
