Angelo Ogbonna is preparing to put his friendship with former manager Antonio Conte to one side ahead of Chelsea's visit to West Ham on Wednesday evening, reports the London Evening Standard.

Ogbonna played under Conte at Juventus and Italy but will line up against his former boss in the EFL Cup at London Stadium.

"I have a really good relationship with Conte but I have to put it to one side," he said.

"We have to be focused for that game. We are playing in front of our own fans so the expectation is so high."
