West Ham's Morrison could be given Birmingham chance

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark suggests that Ravel Morrison could be given another opportunity soon.

The 19-year old is on loan from West Ham United but has featured on just three occasions for the Blues with his last appearance coming in late August.

However, Morrison has been developing well in recent weeks and Clarks suggests the former Manchester United youngster could be in for another shot with the St Andrew's club in the near future.

"Ravel has done brilliantly over the past couple of weeks," said Clark.

"We had a good chat and since then in training, and in the development game, I thought he was outstanding.

"He has certainly put himself back into my plans and we've got to decide over the coming days whether that will be coming off the bench or whether we'll be starting him.

"But he's certainly pushed himself to the forefront of my mind with his training, his application and his performance on Tuesday.

"I explained to all players after the Huddersfield game that places were up for grabs and it's up to all of them now to put themselves in a position where they're in the starting XI."
