West Ham United striker Benni McCarthy wants to kickstart his career in the Championship with QPR.
The South African forward played a training-ground match against Tottenham on Tuesday, scoring on of Rangers' two goals in the 9-2 thrashing at Spurs Lodge.
He is looking to join Neil Warnock's men with the QPR boss on the lookout for a new striker following injuries to Jamie Mackie and Patrick Agyemang.
McCarthy has struggled at Upton Park, making just 13 league appearances since his move from Blackburn Rovers last January.
