West Ham's Jenkinson thrilled with return of Chelsea target Valencia

West Ham United defender was delighted to see Enner Valencia back in the reckoning on the weekend.

The Ecuadorian attacker made his second start in a row in the 2-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday after recovering from a toe injury.

Valencia, who has recently been linked with Chelsea, was bright against City and his performance was not lost on Jenkinson who expects him to have an impact on the side in the remaining five matches.

"Enner looks very confident at the moment and I'm happy for him because he's been out for a few weeks. He's been very sharp in training," the Arsenal loanee told West Ham's official website.

"I'm happy for him and we're going to need him because it looks like we're going to be without Diafra Sakho for a while. It's good for Enner because it looks like he'll play a big part for us for the rest of the season."
