West Ham's Gabbidon out for two weeks

West Ham United defender Danny Gabbidon is set for two weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The 31-year old had to be replaced around the half-hour mark in his side's 3-1 away win over Blackpool on Wednesday night and will now need about a fortnight o recover.

Gabbidon missed the entire 2008/09 season because of ongoing groin problems but has bounced back this season, making 19 league appearances for Avram Grant's Hammers.

However, he will now sit out of upcoming clashes with Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion and will also miss his return to international football with Wales who take on Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.
