West Ham striker Carlton Cole admits confidence is high heading into Sunday's clash with Leeds following the Hammers 4-0 demolition of Watford at Vicarage Road. Cole marked his first start of the season with his first goal since February on Tuesday night.
"The manager is chuffed by the way we play and the style of football we played. We are really happy," he said.
"It helps breed confidence, two clean sheets in a row - I can't remember the last time we had that.
"It bodes well for the goalkeeper, the defence, the whole team really. We had to make a statement and I think it really bodes well for the team.
"The fans need to see we are serious in this league."
