West Ham's Allardyce takes Kean rant to High Court

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce will take Blackburn Rovers counterpart Steve Kean to court.

The Hammers manager, who was sacked by Rovers in December 2010, is the subject of a negative rant made against him by Kean who succeeded him at Ewood Park.

A video recorded by Rovers fans during the clubs pre-season tour to Hong Kong last year shows Kean having a go at Allardyce after the pair worked together in Lancashire. He also questioned the integrity of the now West Ham gaffer.

Allardyce is now taking legal action against both Blackburn and Kean for slander.
