West Ham United won't be moving for Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham are unlikely to offer their former player Cole a Premier League lifeline before the transfer window closes on Friday.
There has been speculation that Liverpool will off-load Cole and that West Ham are prepared to take the 30-year-old midfielder on loan for the rest of the season.
But West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has said that last week's £10.75million club record signing of Matt Jarvis from Wolves was likely to be his last for the time being and that was supported by a club source today who said: "We have no more business planned. There will be no one coming in unless someone goes out which is unlikely but possible."
