West Ham United are mulling over their move for Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott.
The Mirror says the east Londoners are now having second thoughts about matching Lescott's City wages.
In addition, although Aston Villa and Fulham are keen, City could keep Lescott until the summer unless if they are unable to bring in a replacement by next Friday's transfer deadline.
