Sky Sports News HQ understands reports West Ham want to hold "crisis talks" with Dimitri Payet are way off the mark and the club are not concerned about comments he made to the French media.

The 29-year-old playmaker hinted he could leave the Hammers in the January transfer window during an interview with French television channel Telefoot on Sunday.

Sky sources understand Payet's comments have been listened to by a translator and West Ham do not see them as an intention to leave the club.
