Released West Ham United striker Nene is set for a return to France.

Nene signed for the Hammers in January, but was cut loose by the Londoners at the end of last season.

Foot Mercato says French clubs have been in contact with the former PSG and AS Monaco striker.

Nene is currently in advanced talks with Olympiakos.

However, he could be tempted back to France, with several L1 clubs interested.
