Manchester City left-back Wayne Bridge will not join West Ham United on loan after their bid was rejected.
The Hammers were prepared to pay the former Chelsea man his salary of £95,000 a week if he was to come to Upton Park in January but City turned down the offer according to MirrorFootball.
City insisted that West Ham cover all of Bridge's add-ons and bonuses forcing the deal to hit a snag and prompting Avram Grant to drop his interest.
